My name is Donna and I am the sole owner and operator of Donna Campbell Photography.
I was a CNA in a nursing home for several years before I realized that I wanted to be a full time wedding photographer. I did a little photography in high school and won first place for multicolored photography & third place for monochromatic photography in a state wide competition. Of course that was when cameras took film and you crossed your fingers that you got it right.
From applying the makeup to the last curl being curled. From the tears of your parent handing you off to that first kiss as husband and wife. From the first dance until the whole dance floor is full. I am there every step of the way. I capture the important moments, the posed portraits, the drunk dancers, and even intimate moments that you may not even know you had. You might see me on the floor or even up on a chair. You might also see me in the middle of the dance floor hoping not to get knocked over while following your grandparents around for that perfect candid moment.
Some fun facts about me that are NOT photography related;
I have been married since 2011 to the love of my life Craig. He has been my biggest supporter and my best friend. I am so blessed to have met him 20 years ago! We share our home with 2 cats, a dog, and my mentally handicap brother. We are also very excited to be new parents to twins!
I am a HUGE Greys Anatomy fan and I never miss an episode. Although 90% of the time I am watching it on the DVR. Every wedding day you can see my own little catch phrase on my Facebook page, "It's a beautiful day to capture lives".
I graduated from high school in a small town in Mississippi but I was born in the one and only California. However, I have lived in Michigan the majority of my life. I have been coast to coast and there is still so much I want to see.
